Restaurant was busy, but were were seated upon arrival, ordered food within 10 minutes and we were eating about 15 minutes after ordering. Super service! Food was cooked as ordered, nothing was forgotten...server was polite,checked on us regularly and was well knowledged in menu. Awesome server!

The Special Restaurant is know doubt one of the best places to eat in the Omaha area. Not only is the food absolutely great tasting but they give you generous portions at a price you can afford.

The Ribeye and Lemon Pepper chicken were great but the mashed potatos were watery and clumpy

We got right in, good homestyle food and friendly service. Reasonable prices and lots to choose from.
We love going to The Special. The people are so friendly and recognize us as somewhat regulars. The waitress even remembers our drink orders, and even commented that I didn't order my usual last night.

Chicken fried chicken was excellent. I was able to substitute brown gravy instead. You can't beat their meatloaf (Wed special) either. You never leave hungry, plenty to take home for later. The staff is always friendly and willing to accommodate your needs.

they were very busy when we got there and we had an unhappy 2 year old. The service was really quick which was awesome

45 minute wait to get our food. But they are very busy there and the place is popular. Food was acceptable but our 4-peice chicken was pretty dry with no a lot of flavor.
Two of us were on the Keto diet and they didn't even bat an eye with accommodating our modifications to comply with our diet. The food was delicious.

This is a special restaurant (no pun intended). The waitress was friendly, prompt, efficient, courteous. The food was generous, excellent, reasonable. Atmosphere was cozy, but not flashy, but who cares. All in all one of the best restaurants around.

They were out of the soup after being open for an hour and a half, the fried chicken piece was over fried, dry and tough. Very unusual for the food to be over done.

We were there on a Wed. about 6:00 pm. The restaurant was fairly busy but it seemed they were understaffed. It took not only us but all the tables around us several minutes (like 15-20) before we were able to place our order, then about that long again before our food came. The food was very good, our waitress did the best she could, & we will definately be back.

Ryker was our waiter the last 2 visits and he is great. The food was excellent and a very nice quiet atmosphere for visiting even though the restaurant was busy.
Got our Salad and not half way through the meal showed up. Need to let people finish their salads before putting in order for their dinner.
