Food was great, first round of verenke was a bit cold, but refills were hotter!
We meet friends at the Breadbasket every Saturday morning for breakfast. The buffet is 1/2 fruits and there are several other options to add to the plate including cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, French toast with and without raisins, pancakes, scrambled with ham, peppers, etc or plain, and wonderful bacon. It is an all you can eat buffet and coffee, tea and soda are included. They also serve at noon every day and have a Sunday Buffet with several meats and desserts. Friday and Saturday evenings they serve a German menu with breads, verenike, and other great foods.

We love this place. Most Saturday mornings we can be found here eating well and visiting with friends. The trip was for their German buffet. I love these foods, but to make all of it myself is a lot of work.
The food was good, but not worth traveling thirty miles for.

Very accommodating -my husband prefers his eggs fried rather than the scrambled they had on the buffet - I mentioned it and they fried 3 eggs for him. Very helpful and the food was good.

Food was great as always. My only complaint was there were no clean tables when we were trying to find a table to dine at. 6 or 7 dirty tables and no where to sit. Finally someone finally started cleaning tables.
The soup was delicious and most of the other food was okay but the verenike were doughy and thick.they didn't rate like they had been fried as verenike usually are. That was disappointing!! I had planned to take my 8 guests from California to eat there next weekend but now I'm not sure I want to do that.
It didn't seem very busy, but it took a long time for our order to arrive. And the order came in sections. First a couple people then a couple more and then the last person.The food was average. Other Italian restaurants in the area are far better.
I particularly like the weekly German Buffets. They have great sausage and ham, and you can eat all you want.

We eat at Franks often. It took an exceptionally long time to be served our food because the waitress said they were backed up. The restaurant wasn’t busy while we were there, though there was a larger group in the back room. The waitress was very pleasant and accommodating. And we didn’t mind waiting, it was New Year’s Eve, and we were there to have a nice evening. Though the wait time was unusual.

Love the food, including the salad bar, buffet and desserts. If you like german food, go for the German buffet on Fri. or Sat. nights. Can't rate the server on those nights because it is self service for the buffet.
Customer service is always great. Always plenty of fresh food on the buffet.
It was for breakfast and there was a large variety of choices including fresh fruit as well as the breakfast staples.

Fantastic food and even better service! No matter what I order, it's always cooked perfectly and quickly. They're the best!
It was a buffet
The soups were great and the breads were wonderful. The salad bar left a little to be desired. It was all iceberg lettuce and some of it was very wilted and brown. We took a pie to go. This is definitely their strong suit.

Chicken was dry and lacked flavor, veggies washed out by soaking in water, bland. good for people on a low sodium, bland diet I suppose.

I would never go back, I have never experienced worse food than this. We ordered eggplant parm hero and my husband ordered eggplant parm dinner. I can say that we were not able to chew the eggplant.

Always amazing soups, bread, and bierocks. My favorites are the borscht, clam chowder, and chicken noodle.
I did not like the taste of the food. I was surprised as it was a very busy place and nice atmosphere. I was disappointed

The owner came over and helped us to order exactly what we wanted to eat. The waiter was very nice and helpful.
Has good food and big portions took half home . I am a large senior person 6' 4" 350lbs with some handicaps. I need a table and chair ,most of the facility had booths with tables and chairs all the way in the back. Its a long walk from the parking lot to the back of their place. for that reason i will not go back unless i can get a chair for the end of the booth

Veal Parmigiana was very thin dry and tough like cardboard, pasta was over cooked and sauce was bland.

Food quality was good, portions were generous. I was surprised to see two big hunks of sausage in my "meatless vegetable soup."

This was German buffet night. The swieback rolls and apple butter were the best I've ever had. I poured the cherry moos around my German chocolate cake and both were amazing. My wife had the bread pudding and it was excellent as well. It seemed like it was made from cinnamon rolls. Our favorites on the buffet were the chicken borscht and green bean soup. We never leave here hungry or unsatisfied.
