Very good food. Loved the selection of the strawberry and pineapple tamales. We even bought some for breakfast the next day. The staff gave us instructions for the best way to reheat them. I'm glad to have gone there. I can't wait to go back and try other options on their menu.
The restaurant has a good selection on the menu of Mexican food. The meat and vegetables were of good quality. My entree was freshly made while I waited.
Tamales are the best!
It is fast food in a mall, need I say more. okay for what it is. I did not realize what it was when I bought the certificate.

Took it for take out but the long drive to our house caused some drying of the meat. My daughter loved the tamales. Which was the reason we bought the certificate.

WE enjoyed the authentic Mexican food.
Everything was very good. I liked the soup idea rather than salsa & chips before the meal. Think the red salsa would have been even better with chopped onion & green pepper. For the dessert tamales, the pineapple/strawberry was mixed into the masa harina. It loses the flavor. I think it would be better if they rolled it out and spread it on the tamale shell and then rolled it. The waiter was excellent. Good original Mexican flavor.

Very friendly staff! We sampled several menu items. The tamale's are the star of the show here. We tried the Spicy Beef Tamale, Spicy Pork Tamale, Pablano Tamale's and they were all excellent. We also tried the Beef Tacos, Pork Tacos, and Chicken Tacos. Our group debated all through dinner on what was the best dish and couldn't agree it was all so good. Then we tried the Pineapple Desert Tamale. Also excellent. This will on our short list of favorites from now on!

This place is a great little find. We live in Ames, IA, and so prefer to stop by Tamales Industry around a planned trip of errands. It's great and plan to go regardless of coupons. The place is small and very friendly.
Had a great conversation with the owner! He is an A+ guy! Loved the dessert tamale and will order them all the time in the future. Yummy!

Tamales Industry is a simple, small place to get very good Mexican food. The emphasis is on quality over quantity, though the portion sizes were certainly not small. The tamales are the best I and my wife have ever had. The masa dough is light, not dense like so many other places. It seemed a good ratio of filling to dough (though I prefer more filling). Excellent, personal service.
The food was great as was the service. I will be telling all my friends about this place.
We will definatly be going back. The food is authentic
