I love Sticky Rice and since my sister was in town from Boston I wanted her to try it. The food was great as always. The 4 * rating is because it was very cold (a/c and fans).

My waitress was great! She was helpful with the menus and help me navigate with the certificate using it for the 1st time.

My lasagna was greasy, a little over cooked but still good. The caeser salad was just ok. I think their food quality has gone down. My friend said her pasta was flavorless. The cashier forgot to apply my $5.00 restaurant.com certificate and had to re do it. The food is pricey (12.95 for the lasagna and garlic bread, $3.00 for the drink, etc.) and just ok.

Excellent service, excellent flavor. I only wish that the menus were a bit more explanatory. I am not a sushi lover, but my other party members were. The facility apparently serves some items fried, but the menu is not specific as to which items are fresh or not.

Very unique place in the heart of Richmond. They have a great variety of sushi choices that all taste wonderful!
The food was served quickly. It tasted great and the waitress, Gabrielle, was excellent.
The sushi was yummy, and the food came out quick. Highly recommend the sticky balls. The waitress was slow on the water refills (which I only noticed because of the spice roll we ordered). Otherwise, this is a solid spot.

A large selection of tasty appetizers, fresh sushi and creative rolls. We enjoyed the Mongolian Beef and sticky rice.
Service was fast and very friendly. Food was wonderful with generous servings. My husband said the hot and sour soup was the best he's ever had....we ordered some to go. We plan to go again, soon.
It's one of our favorite places to eat! We especially enjoy the fun names for the sushi rolls and the great music that plays.

Girl's night out first time for 2 in the group they really enjoyed the decision to eat here, using chop sticks for the 1st time the atmosphere and music always a plus.

The food was good and the sushi had plenty of meat. Our server was the weakest aspect of the meal. She missed a sushi on our order and took a while to get it to us. There were times where we felt like we waited for her to come to our table to visit us - to get the check and to ask for something.

Katy is one of the best servers in Richmond and we always look for her whenever we are in. The food was better than the usual good. Seemed fresh instantly out of the kitchen. Sushi was fresh and tasty.

Sticky Rice has excellent selections of Sushi and other dishes. The early evening time is the best because it can get very crowded in the late evenings.

Jesse, our server was not attentive and was a bit rude. She barely came to the table to check on us, which was a problem because the food was prepared wrong and we had to ask another server to help us.

It was not lunch time but service was slow. Had to ask for refills and when we told server an order did not taste right she just looked at us. Will not be going back
My girlfriend and I planned dinner at the last minute. She loves Sticky Rice and I have only been there once before in the summer. Very nice Saturday evening in the Fan District. Music was playing in the restaurant as well as tv's with basketball on Richmond Spiders playing. Food was delicious. 5 min wait "not bad" parking on street but we lucked up and had a spot right in front as someone was leaving. Overall my rating would be a 10

Great sushi. Shrimp were small and overcooked the Gen Taos- it is usually much much better. Ribs were terrific- love the spicy sauce. Tempura little thick and chewy. Was an off night from our usual stellar experiences in the past. The AC being out may have been part of the problem. Service was great.

the food was good but the server was poor I had to keep getting other servers to refill drinks I ordered to rolls to be there when the rest of table parked , the server never put in the order so I asked when my party got the how much longer before they came out she said she didn't but them in she thought I wanted to wait till the rest of my party came but it was a roll something cold, then she asked what my party wanted to drink she asked what type of drinks did they have , the water said she would bring her water while she looked and walked off and never asked again if she wanted something else then water, it was the worst service I have had in a restaurant .

The fish in my roll looked old and was mushy. The rolls weren't rolled tight at all, they kept falling apart. The server was nice but we rarely saw her.

service was friendly, prompt and accurate. We eat a lot of sushi and ordered 5 rolls and only Loved one of them. The others weren't as good as the same at other establishments (spicy tuna, yellowtail and eel - all kinda bland) Sticky balls were great. Specialty roll was good but not great.

We were greeted immediately in a pleasant manner. The restaurant is simply decored & clean. The food was served in a timely manner & tasted good. The music selection was fine, just a little too loud for my liking. It was hard to have a conversation.

Everytime we come we unfortunately have the same waitress....how she still works there is a mystery as she is always rude and never friendly
The initial experience was not good.We walked in the door to a young girl who did not greet us at all, ask us how many in the party or anything. She just looked at us until my husband asked, or your the hostess or are you seating or what? Her response was a very flat, "yeah." It was very odd, she looke at us as though we were lost and just came in for directions or somehting. The place was packed & she said we could either sit at the sushi bar or the bar until table was ready. I told her we were ordering sushi so could we sit at the there until a table was availabe, she said either the bar to wait for a table or we would have to remain seated at the sushi bar. We thought that was a little odd too. The bartender & the waitress were very nice and accomdating. Some retraiing is in order for the hostess who is unfortunately the first person you encounter so our impression started off badly.
Too much rice and skimpy on other ingredients. Ordered 4 different sushi rolls and they all tasted the same.

The food came out fast. They were very busy and did not have a lot of wait staff. So my only complaint was it took a long time to get our bill, but out waiter had a long of tables.
The prices were reasonable, the menu had a wide selection, the food was good, and the service was excellent.
Food was below fair how can u eat sushi when there is no slices of fresh fish everything was mashed up to taste like tuna from a can the rice had no taste at all and cilantro doesn't belong on sushi and I love cilantro
A little crowded as it's a small place. The bar was very close wiht several college age drinkers. Staff were extremely freindly and the food was good.

It had a small pub feel and the prices were great. Sushi restaurants in a North Carolina charge twice as much.
Nothing spectacular. Average experience. Miso soup was very good but the tuna was a bit fishy, indicating that it was not as fresh as it could be. Philly roll and crispy shrimp rolls were good.
Food as always was great. Service was very good as well. We sat in the back booth kinda under the speaker by the back of the bar...a little LOUD.
Our bartender John Partin was incredible. He was so friendly, made amazing capiriñas, and even called us a taxi home. His service made the experience outstanding.
