Excellent cuisine, I had the grilled marinated steak salad and it was fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff. We wanted to know the wine label and she was very helpful to share the wine label. Video screen with beers available and a wine list. Sit at the bar with TV's, bar tables, or booth and chairs, in a very nice, not too loud atmosphere with interesting music wall art. I have been eating here for many years and the quality is very consistent. I highly recommend this bar/pub-like for nice quiet date night!

We arrived at dinner rush, 2 groups ahead of us/a 30+ min wait. Manderes was down a server, they worked together as a team including the owner assisting w/bussing, delivering food and speaking w/customers. Although staff were working hard, they were very efficient and congenial. Always great food and service!

Great atmosphere and high quality food. The owner is on-site, visiting with the customers, generally helping out when needed and making sure customer service is excellent...and it always is.

Their were 6 people in our party. We all ordered something different. Everyone loved their food. We all shared a bit. The top favorites were. The bacon wrapped beef medallions, the tomahawk pork chop with chili oil and the kabobs.

We got there just about 5:PM since they don’t take reservations. Luckily, there was a good space available for our party. everything was great, as usual. My adult grandchildren hadn’t been there before and were pleasantly surprised at the menu. We had a great time!

Manderes has become a special place for our friends and family to meet. The service is always wonderful. I love Monique and she always says hello like she's glad to see me. Says thank you for coming back. None of us have ever ordered anything that we are not super pleased with. The food is absolutely delicious! We started going there because of the Restaurant.com certificate but it's a real favorite now.

The owner walks through and talks with customers, takes orders and helps. The wait staff are always friendly. The food is a huge surprise to people who haven’t eaten there, it is gourmet. Not expected in such a relaxed atmosphere. My company always asks to eat dinner there.

There were 5 of us and management made sure we had a special table quickly. We always have good service and the food is always great, too.
Starts at the top - an attentive and friendly owner oversees Manderes and the staff are equally as friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable - not too big or small - a neighborhood gem (even though we drive 30 minutes to get here). The food is the real star, though - best bulgogi around and the salmon or mahi-mahi risotto is fabulous.
baby back ribs were good, but the black tiger shrimp had too much sauce.

When we know we’re going to Manderes for dinner, we spend considerable time during the day trying to decide what we’ll order for dinner. We know that we’ll have enough leftovers for dinner the next night. Not only are the portions large, we also save room for dessert.
Casual, relaxed, with a five star menu! My favorite place to take people. The food is indescribably good with many choices. Dessert is better than you can imagine. Save room for dessert and take half of your dinner home!
We absolutely loved our dinners.The bruschetta was the best ever,.The baby back ribs were delicious & meaty. The surf & turf was very good. The rosemary rib eye served with mashed potatoes & mushroom gravy was yummy. We will return soon.
The owner, as usual, was walking around. He took our order and when I asked if I could have my salad with romaine instead of field greens, he said, “absolutely”! I usually eat dinner at Manderes but this was a birthday lunch for my best friend and added a salad for her husband and a hamburger for mine. I love this casual, sports bar atmosphere with food that is better than anywhere else!

Took my sister and boyfriend to Manderes for her birthday. She is a food snob but a very casual person. She couldn’t believe the quality and presentation of the food for such a casual eatery! My husband and I feel the same. The food is the best. Vegetables are cooked just enough to say they’re cooked and still maintain their real color.

This “sports bar/restaurant” has menu with lots of variety. There’s bound to be something for everyone. The dessert is wonderful, especially the Italian lemon cake with lemon caramel topping. I don’t remember the Italian name. Desserts are huge; enough for 2-3, depending on how hungry you are after dinner. Portions are large but not so big to be ridiculous. This is our favorite local restaurant and people will travel and stand in line to get into this restaurant. No reservations available.
Steak salad not made as requested, however server remedied immediately upon letting him know. Vegies with pork chop were salty - have been the past couple of times.
Onion rings are great. Get the lettuce wraps with Bulgogi beef!

Excellent food and service. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is too jammed packed in the dining area, and there is hardly any room to walk or move your chair away from the table! It’s standing room only at the door, and there is often a wait because the food is so good. I prefer to have no football games on TV during my fine dining, so the fact that people come here to watch sports kind of brings down the ambiance to a more casual level.
Overall excellent food and excellent service. The only negative is the check in process. We waited at the hostess stand for 15 minutes to find out the wait time and have our name added to the wait list.
The only complaint we had is that they started pressure washing in the kitchen while we (and other diners) were still eating dinner, and before closing time. It was loud and a little jarring. When they closed the door into the kitchen it helped, but I would recommend waiting until all patrons are gone before starting this. The manager spoke to us about this, and he was great and we appreciated his explanation.

Manderes is one of my favorite resturants in Folsom. However, tonight our dinner felt rushed, the employees were vaccuming in the back and I barely could hear the conversation I was having. The vacuum was a big distraction and ruined the end of our dinner. It was to the point where we packed up our food and wine bottle and drank and ate the rest at home.

The food at Manderes is always exceptional! We had the special which was the bbq babybacks, they were fall off the bone amazing and we love to order the steak alfredo everytime. Definitly reccomend this place! Also props to the deep fried asparagus!

Bruschetta was amazing. Grilled salmon over risotto and the Korean beef. Two outstanding meals. We shared the super decadent chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream. Always a treat!!

3 out of 4 entrees were good. Ribs were "crispy" - overlooked . . . Again. Won't order them again. Service was slow, and one drink order took almost 20 minutes . . . "We had to change the keg". Not acceptable. Tell me ahead of time and I'll order something else.

We went for lunch. I had their excellent hamburger, and my wife had an ahi salad special. Both were wonderful. My wife's dish was very generous in portion size, including the ahi. The wine selection was okay, and the service was great.

This was the second time in the last month that I have ordered the steak and it was too heavily seasoned with the Montreal Steak seasoning. To the point where I didn't eat all of my steak because it was too salty and seasoned. I feel like it was a waste of food and my money and since I ordered the surf/turf, which was the most expensive item on the menu, it was not up to standards in my opinion. It happened on my husbands steak the last time we were there.

we ordered 4 small plate appetizers. Loved the calamari, lettuce wraps and crab cakes. Should have passed on the onion rings and gone for the wings as our waiter advised. Way too much food for the two of us but wanted to get a good sampling. Our waiter was nice, well informed and efficient.
I've now tried 3 different dishes at Manderas and all have been extraordinarily good. I've had the Korean beef - SO tender and yummy, the steak kabobs, and fish tacos (don't know if they have those anymore or not.) Anyway, very good food! Small place, but a nice intimate atmosphere.

Had a quiet little table in the corner where we could watch all the activity. Our server, Kelsey, was awesome as usual. The bruschetta was delicious, as were the stuffed mushrooms and Meomi Pinot Noir. We love popping into this place on the spur of the moment after a long workday.

The waitress who served us was polite and kind, but we had to remind her for typical items, like a steak knife, and she wasn't particularly prompt. The service is typically spit on, and tonight felt just a little off.
We ordered the stuffed mushroom, which was great. Then we shared the Pork Shank dinner and the Seared Ahi w/ Risotto dinner. We couldn't decide which was better, as both were perfect. The service is as great as the food. Highly recommend.

We were hoping we could bring the kids (5 & 8) for a family dinner, but found out later that Manderes is mostly a bar and inappropriate for children (to our standards). So my wife and I went alone. We experienced an excessive wait time of almost an hour to receive our dinner after we ordered. The presentation of the food was wonderful; however, the mushroom risotto and steak had a wonderful flavor, but were cold. Additionally, the server did not share the specials with us which I overheard her describing to the table next to us. I would have most likely ordered the crab cake appetizer had I known it was available.

We have been here 3 times. Every time we enjoyed our food. Yesterday, we had calamari (steak) which was great, their steak sandwich which was the best we'd ever had, and the crab sandwich on special which was also the best seafood sandwhich either of us ever had. I wish I could make this our secret, but the food is just too good. This price is high, but for those of you who are willing to pay for good food, try this place. We certainly have never been disappointed in our meals, at Manderes.

The place is a bit noisy, but the food is wonderful. It took about 35 min to get our food---it was worth the wait. Great place to eat.
We have visited Manderes at the new location as well as the previous location. Originally went in to have a drink and appetizer only to find out the food is amazing and service as well. Nothing but positive things to say and will continue to visit as often as possible..
The waitress was very sweet...I had brought the wrong coupon for the discount and my son went to retrieve it and she was very pleasant about the situation. Food as always was wonderful!
Waiters were very professional. They were very warm, accommodating without being too fussy. We felt we were eating in a 5- star hotel or even better because of the waiters. Bring friends, family and co-workers and you' ll never go wrong. Cheers to the staff. Great job.

We really liked the food .
Didn't hit it off with the waitress from the beginning. She pretty much plopped the check down without saying a word. Her attitude & mine were both bad, but I'm the customer and don't deserve rudeness. Shrimp was cold & I believe nuked to heat it up. Not worth spending $15+ for a bad dinner.

The staff are really nice and it makes such a positive impression to feel welcome. Everyone we came across smiled, spoke to us. They were pretty busy and we had to wait but they still took the time to acknowledge us.

Great experience. We dined there with our kids and they have no kid menu but were very accomodating. My kids loved their dishes and so did we! The service was amazing....very friendly.
Brent, the owner and his staff immediately made us feel welcome and like we were family. He knew all of his regular customers and greeted them by name. The food was exceptional and well worth the drive for us to Folsom from Fair Oaks- LOVED IT!!! Can't wait to return!

We really like Manderes, but my husband'pork chops were a little over cooked this time and my ahi was also a bit over done. This was a first though.

Completely surprised. Small selection (maybe 20) different beers on tap was the best selection I have seen in years. Service was knowledgeable and prompt. Food presentation was first class. We will stop in here often in the future.
Manderes is great! Fantastic food, great selection of beers, and super friendly staff. We take our young son with us and they always accomodate us no problem.

Had to wait five minutes at entrance before anyone even came over. Very noisy. Mostly bar food. Not the better restaurant it appeared to be.

Was not very happy with our server. We were not checked on often and were not offered more drinks when were done with ours. The servers were just standing at the bar the majority of the night. My boyfriend and I like Manderes but we didn't like our service this time.

We waited 55 minutes to receive our food. The lobster/clam chowder was bad. The ice tea tasted like chemicals. We waited 20 minutes for dessert which was a scoop of ice cream!

You coupon does not save money. I won't be using it again.
It was very busy with several waiting parties. Service was a bit slow but NOT the server's fault. Just super busy.
