Food was great! Server was inexperienced. Coupon can only be used if a manager is present, and she marked my coupon as used but it wasn't.

The food at Kalahari Ocean Grill is awesome! The Shrimp was fresh and delicious, the ribs were to die for. The staff was friendly and the service was good. Our only problem is the smoking bar next door. Every time the door opens, the smoke comes into the restaurant part.

The server was fantastic! She was friendly, personable, and attentive. The food was outstanding! Between the bacon cheeseburger, the buffalo chicken sandwich, and the Kalahari shrimp with mixed vegetables, the portion sizes were large and the flavors were incredible.
The Calamari appetizer was excellent and was served with fried peppers and onions and a dip. The Catfish dinners came with fries. Both were excellent. The Catfish was crusty on the outside and flaky on the inside. It was cooked perfectly. On a Saturday afternoon when we were expecting the effects of Hurricane Florence, the restaurant was surprisingly busy. The waitress was very friendly. Given the fact that it is a small restaurant and she was the only waitress, it took 10 or 15 minutes or so for her to get to us. The great food at a reasonable price was worth the wait. This is our 2nd time there and we will definitely go back. Left of the dining room was a bar with a pool table which also seemed to be busy in the middle of the day. We may go back for an evening out.
The service was great, the food was great but everyone should know up front that if the coupon is used at lunchtime you have to order an appetizer or order from the dinner menu to use the coupon. With that said the potatoe skin appetizer is amazing.
Service was slow and mediocre. Food pricey for quality but was the best part of the visit. Nothing great. Atmosphere sticky and grungy.
Quickly seated and served...waitress very well trained with a great attitude.
The food was a 5+ star. The environment is good. Having the bar next door with smoking is bad. The door is closed except for when the staff go between the bar and the restaurant. We will go back because the food is so wonderful!!!
Dumpy conditions, homemade plywood booths, low light, drafty and cold, had to keep our coats on the whole time it was like the heat didn't work. The food was edible but cold,'s and the waitress was nice but was the only waitress it appear there was only one cook in the kitchen and. Not an enjoyable experience
I ordered takeout at lunch time. I called the order in, and they said it would take 20 minutes to make the order . When I got to the restaurant There was maybe six people dining in.. It actually took them 30 minutes to prepare my food. because they took so long I didn't have a chance to eat any of my food at lunch time. When I did get a chance to eat it in my burger was undercooked , and even though the refrigerator had taken a toll on my fries I could tell that they had been cooked too long as they were quite brown.
