Could benefit greatly from some sound absorbent material

Service was terrible waited 20 to pay and another 10min. To get the bill settled. Needed thing from the service I went without.
Music was kind of loud,the table we were sitting at was right under a speaker so I'm sure that had some to do with it. No kids menu, staff was great with the kids and service was very good.

The food was great and the staff very friendly and welcoming.
Very good shrimp cocktail, tacos and flautas. The jalapeno and cilantro margarita was delicious. Our server was awesome.
It was really loud and couldn't hear my husband talk to me. They don't tell you that the chips and salsa are not free.
They always welcome us like family and do everything to make dining there a positive and fun experience. PLUS the food is great!

Why so much air conditioning? I believe that when the temperature is near 90°, even after the sun goes down and it cools off, a customer should not need to wear a jacket or even a long-sleeve shirt to remain comfortable in a restaurant. ItI would be good to be attuned to what makes a comfortable temperature and then stick with it.
Granted it was Friday evening and they were busy but service was slow and the noise was so loud that we essentially could not hold a conversation. The food was okay but not great

Lorenzo the owner is very friendly, makes you feel like your with family. The service is great and the food is excellent.
The owner is awesome! Comes around makes sure you are doing well. The atmosphere is intimate with a good group of servers who treat you like they've known you forever. Food is presented very well and makes your mouth water before you even touch it with your palette. Be careful with the Habanero Sauce. Wow it's hot!!
If the burrito was twice the size then I guess it would be OK. It's a pricey for that little burrito that isn't all that good.
We love El Chingon. The drinks and food are all fantastic and everyone working there does a great job.

Great service from Phillip. Food and drink were spicier than I usually like, but our dinner was very flavorful and greatly enjoyed.
Prices are little bit high!No chips and salsa serve before dinner.
Our waiter was very friendly and served us well, and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. But neither of us particularly liked our meal. And we thought they were a bit overpriced for what we were served.
