A south 24th St institution, it has never let me down
Really like their food. Been eating at this restaurant for over 25 years.
The Mexican food was OK but the Margaritas were not. The on line menu pricing has not been updated, so all prices were 20% more than expected.
The food was very good. The price was right. The service was good. Will go again, Parking in front is hard to get. But there is parking in the back.
We ordered fajitas and the chicken Carnitas. They appear to be the same things except arranged in a different way! It all tasted good though.
The food was the very best Mexican in the Omaha area! The atmosphere was good, too. I don't think I've ever had better Mexican food than tonight. The meat was tender, the veggies fresh, the tortillas and chips were sublime.
Wondered why the fans weren't running, as the air doesn't circulate for diners' comfort. Air was pretty still and it was a bit muggy. One member didn't like a flour tortilla on her enchilada, as she didn't know it had to be special ordered to have corn on her selection. Still enjoyed most of it, though.
Friendly staff, food was delicious, hot and fresh.
Took our 87 year old mother out for her birthday. My family visited from Rhode Island and they were really happy with the service and food; and say they will absolutely come back for lunch and dinner

13 years I’ve been going to this place, but I’m never going to visit again. The food and service are great, but my family was made to feel very uncomfortable by the nights entertainment. After ordering appetizers, drinks, entrees for 4 people, with an order to go to boot, the musician for the night came to our table to ask us to turn a video down that we were playing for our one year old. From across the room. A table next to him were playing videos louder than the kiddie video we were playing for our kid. We obliged. He came back and asked us to turn our video off. When we explained that it was for our infant he told us to get her headphones. We asked for the check. We informed our waitress and the manager came over and tried to be as accommodating as they could be, to their credit. But I can never go back to a place that made, even by extension of the hired entertainment, my family so uncomfortable. We tipped our waitress well, took, our food and left. They did offer us free desserts, which we also said yes to, but took them home. Just to restate the facts, our child was silent, we were across the room from the musician, there was a table next to him playing louder videos than us for their own humorous entertainment but he decided to single us out. That’s the last $250 I spend there. 13 years of patronage down the drain.
The food was amazing . I purchase the surf and turf and had no complaint only praise.

i have definitely had excellent an excellent experience in the past , but due to the very loud party that was below the restaurant I wasn't able to speak to my friend without screaming . So for that I would just say good. Ive been going here for years but it was the first time I brought this friend so it wasn't so nice that we couldn't have a normal conversation.

Relaxing atmosphere; although restaurant was busy, service was attentive, food was hot & they did not rush us. Portions are plentiful!

The food was plentiful and delicious. We ordered a pitcher of Sangria and the waiter suggested their Peach Sangria. It was excellent.

This is an excellent restaurant. We eat here several times a year. The food is excellent and the portions are big. Service is very good and it is a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable It is easy to get here from JFK and because of the Air Train, you don't have to be concerned about conditions on the Van Wyck

We rarley eat at Mexican restaurants since I can cook it myself But after eating at El Alamo we'll be going back. The food was incrediably good, I had the Chile Colorado & tried a tamale which had a nice sauce over it making it even more delcious. The Margaritas (on the rocks) were perfection, the best I've ever had. Chips & salsa /red & green are provided(free),very good. The staff was pleasant with excellent service. I've told my friends & family they have to go El Alamo . . it's soooo good
Chiliquillas was not on the menu, but they made it for me, better than I've had many times in Mexico

I have been to El Alamo many times. For some reason, this time the service was...well, bad. The waiter was more interested in watching television than anything else. We waited a long time for the food, and to be given the bill. Probably my worst experience so far there.
i was overcharged (like I was my previous visit) when I mentioned it to the waitress she dismissed me. unfortunately I was late for an apointment so I could not show her how I was overcharged. I emailed right after the visit to relay this & did not hear back. I know exactly what I ordered so I don't know if the prices ion the menu are not correct or your employees are terrible at math.
