We have not been there in years. It was not as good as we remembered.
The food and service was good, but they could've used a thicker piece of chicken for the chicken parmesan because I could almost only taste the bread crumbs.
Every time we go we are always greeted with a nice smile and seated. We had Terry as our waitress. We can’t say anything but great things about her. We went with another couple and they also are frequent customers so there was no question to where we wanted to go. We all enjoyed our meals and will be back!!!

There was a little too much salt in the main courses this time. Over all it was still good.
The eggplant parm is superb. The house salad was an improvement from the last time I was there and added beans, etc.

This is like the only meal we had there that was ok. We've been going here for like 10 years. this was the 1st ok meal, its usually a lot better, and more tasty.

The waitress was VERY nice and apologetic(several times) but I ordered a salad with chicken and the chicken was forgotten, I waited about 20 minutes for chicken to be put on my salad as my husband ate his dinner.

My husband always looks forward to their chicken picatta and I got a chicken special that I forget the name but would remember as soon as I see it on the menu. I would recommend this restaurant highly.
Great little place with wonderful Italian food, as well as excellent service. The "bonus" was that the train went right by our window! It was a fun night!
Service was terrible the first time we went and worse the second and I have three more certificates to use,however, the food was decent not great...the bread was awesome... Charged 4.00 for 2 small frozen meatballs which I thought was outrageous... Next time we will visit for lunch and hope the service will be better

The Maranara Sauce is not as good as it used to be. Different flavor.We found the same with the sauce on the chicken cacciatore, just not what we were expecting. The old versions were better.

Food and service were great. Seats / benches were not that great. They not high or deep enough. Other than the seats we had a great meal. Probably the best sausage and chicken cacciatore I have had.

We arrived a little before restaurant opened, but not a problem. We were seated and brought bread/dipping oil, butter, drinks. Everyone was gracious and friendly, food was superb - will definitely go back!

I had house favorite, chicken Crispin. It was excellent. My husband had shrimp and lobster scampi special and loved it. Bread was fresh and delicious.

The food seemed to be a bit overpriced, It's not a big restaurant, parking is a nightmare and the train goes by within feet of the restaurant.The food was fair, I got confused with the Pasta part of their menu, it was not self explanitory I felt embarrassed to ask the server twice to explain it. The other person in my party couldn't explain it either. The server said to me "you have to be a regular to understand that part of the menu". Duh! The food came in good portions. As far as Italian food I think they could step it up a bit.

The food was good but the service was slow. It took 25 minutes to get a drink. We were already on our 2nd basket of bread before we got a drink. We were all sharing my daughter's water since that was the only drink on the table. The waitress also apologized for taken so long to get our appetizers.

We were seated immediately and our waitress took our drink order right and also our dinner order. We ate late around 8:30 and the waitress on duty would sit at an empty table and text on their phones.

Waitress was very sweet but didn't have the experience or wasn't trained to notice little things, such as cleaning off a small spill before dessert was served. Fun when the restaurant shook a bit when the train went by.

this time it was good but have been in the past where food was less than good..quality fluctuates depending on the day you go..also need new waitresses..whenever they get a new one (which is usually good) they never resurface...

When we arrived it wasn't too busy but filled up by the time our appetizer arrived. We had ordered before a other parties but for some reason our food came out after others' orders. Don't believe it was waitperson's fault, just how things happened. I think Waitress gave us extra bread and was attentive to compensate. Food was excellent when it arrived.

We were seated promptly and our server arrived within moments of our seating for our drink order. Bread was served. Salads came quickly followed by our meals. Everything was timely.
Service was slow, food good but doesn't compare to Johnny's Mac for quanity.

The food is always exquisite; well done, tasty and well presented. The waitstaff is also very friendly and corteous
The restaurant and atmosphere are cute and casual. The server was fantastic, very good. We ordered: antipasto salad as an appetizer (every restaraunt makes them different and this one had some great additions like the capers, breaded eggplant, wine-roasted peppers. Would love to have had cubes of cheese such as provolone and more italian meats and tuna. Olives would also have been nice); Chicken parm as meal #1 very good, crispy, delicious sauce, pasta al dente); lobster, shrimp, scallop scampi as meal #2, again very good. maybe a little too much oil at the bottom of the plate and adding some more pasta would make it even a greater value, i thought the pasta was a bit skimpy. The seafoon was substantial - since pasta is so cheap, adding more would be nice. Lastly ordered a side of meatballs - the only disappointment of the night. They were edible however they tasted like they were frozen meatballs, not the homemade italian taste you'd expect (I am italian so this has always been a staple growing up). Maybe they were made fresh and then frozen? And it also tasted like the meat was overworked when it was mixed, they were tough to cut and very dense. Other than the meatballs, a great experience and we'll likely be back.

Food and waitstaff were great. Hostess kept having to ask if we had checked in. when we told here we had, she again asked each time she came back to the entrance. Ordered a drink from the bar and it was like double the amount of alcohol for the size of the glass it was in. Had to ask for more ginger ale to add to the drink. Other than that, food was great, waitstaff was also.

Great restaurant. Prices are a little above average. We also take advantage of their 2 day recession breaker special on a Sunday or Monday. All meals $12.00. They also have a Thursday Special of all wines are $5.00 a glass. It was a bigger savings using the $25.00 coupon though.
Service was better than the first three times we visited. Excellent experience all around.
Several of the servers need to have a refresher course in serving.
THE FOOD AT CRISPI'S IS NOT CONSISTENTLY GOOD BUT, USUALLY IT IS. PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE AND THE WAIT STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT.
waited for 5 minutes for hostess to appear from back room to seat us, waitress was not friendly and declined to give us more bread because "they ran out", waited a long time for table to be cleared of dirty dishes and finally get a check

We go routinely, so it must be GOOD
Only negative was we weree overcharged. The waitress did the math by hand. I caught a $4 error in the math. It was corrected but when we got home we realized that the entire bill was off by an Additional $4-$5 which we paid.

The hostess was not pleasant and very slow. acting like we put her out. Also had left message on answering machine to make reservations as instructed and told well no one listened to messages.
I thought that the restaurant was quite small. Our first impression was a frustrated hostess who had no menus. When walking to our table the hostess asked another table if they were done with their menus. I found the menu hard to read but was able to find something I wanted to try. My fiance and best friend both found something and were very excited when the waitress came to take our orders. We were all surprised with the options that they were given to go with their food. We all loved the bread appetizer and were mostly impressed with our meals. We waited quite a while for our waitress to return since she never came by to see how our meals were. When she did return with the bill it took her another 5-10 mins to come back and pick up the card. By the time we were ready to leave, I felt like I had been part of everyone's conversations around us, had been sat on most of my meal and then received a rather cold good bye from the hostess.

A little confusing because they offer $12.00 specials, however, the waitress figured out the specials and whatever we ordered extra as well as full price and using the $25.00 off. It was less $ with us using the $25.00.

I always get the Saltinbocca and this was the first time in 10 yrs I got something different!! The baked Schrod, now I have a new fave!@
We have been going to Crispi's for several years now. The service and quality of food is always excellent. It is one of our favorite restaurants!
Your food is always wonderful. The waitstaff unfortunately spoils the dining experience. The waitresses tend to be lethargic and disinterested. They pass food over diners heads, down the lengths of tables and are generally unprofessional. We do not dine as often as we used to because of the overall experience. In the competitive restaurant business there are too many with a more professional waitstaff which make their dining experience more enjoyable.

Very long wait, very poor service, very disorganized. Ran out of bread....why not send someone across the street to Roche Bros and get bread.

Our waitress was excellent and she will be main reason we return. The food was very good and the portions were good also. However, we found the restaurant very noisy and chilly.
Waitress to way to long to come to the table, had to ask that she come to the table so we could order a drink.

My fish dish smelled bad and didn't eat. Scallops were black and didn't dare eat. bread and oil was great. waitress, an effort to serve and ask questions

We have gone to Crispi's for years. Their food, service and atmosphere has always been excellent. It is one of my favorite restaurants. We eat there more than 2-3 times per year, but there was not another answer between monthly and 2-3 times per year.
wife's meal was very good, my steak was only fair especially for the price

This was the second time I have dined her. The first time was great, this time..well not so much. Chicken was dry, overcooked,very little sauce. Dipping oil for bread not very good at all...when it was time to order dessert..the waitress had to make several trips after I had placed an order to keep telling me they were out of basically all of the desserts. We ended up with the chocolate lava cake....horrible...the chocolate was unsweetened...not even semi sweet melted chocolate on top..cake tasteless..disappointing Waitresses very good and attentive and offered many apologies...however I don't believe I will return any time soon.
We absolutely love Crispie's! The sauce is the best part of the meal every time. It never tastes like it was pre-prepared. I KNOW it's made in house and it tastes just like my Italian mother-in-law's.

I have enjoyed the food at Chrispis in the past. I was disappointed this time. I got the Veal Roma and the veal was was tough. The sauce didn't have much flavor. The presentation looked awesome. My husbands Veal Chrispino was very disappointing. The serving was small and his veal was very tough. On a good note, the ziti and sauce was very good. The olive oil served with the bread, was also very good. The serving of wine, was a very good pour!
Had a great meal with a great server. Can't wait to go back.
