Great food. We missed it during the lockdown.
Food was extremely overpriced for being such poor quality. The duck was dry and our other entry was missing it’s side dish.
It was the night before Valentine's Day and they were surprisingly busy. In our opinion they needed more waiters/waitresses last night. While our waiter was super friendly, he did not clear the table with dishes timely even leaving dinner plates on table until we left; they ran out of desserts.
Everything about choplins was great except that our appetizer arrived about a minute before our entrée.

The food was good and that is always a plus. With the coupon I feel the prices were good.
Everything was superb, from the service, to the food, to the wine. The eggplant rolatini app was fantastic. It was big enough to be a meal. The scallops and pork were both delicious, and my husband just raced over the scalloped potatos.
The staff are wonderful and the food is great. We eat here very often and would highly recommend this to anyone. Halibut is amazing, steaks are good and the dirty martinis are fantastic.

The food was good, however, it took a while to be seated and then the server was not as attentive as we would expect in a restaurant like this and it was not that busy for 3 servers, as I've done this job in the past. We ended up asking for help from the other servers as ours disappeared quite often.

Excellent service and timing and food and suggestions from our waitress. Had a great experience.

The food was great tasting. The reason I only gave it a 4 (good) instead of a 5 is because they lied to me about MSG. I get severe nerve pain when I eat MSG so I asked if they use it and the server said "no MSG" but 3 hours after I ate, I was in pain for the whole night. I think the MSG was only in the sushi rice because my wife could not taste it in the teriyaki chicken. If you're not sensitive to MSG, then you'll love the food here. The M16 sushi roll is the best roll I ever tasted (the MSG probably helped that flavor though) and the teriyaki chicken was also the best I ever tasted. My daughter is not sensitive to MSG so she said she would rate this place a 5, can't be beat. The dining area is old and kind of run down, also it wasn't too clean. This normally wouldn't bother me but when I spend $70 on a meal for 2, I would think the place would be cleaner and in better condition.

My husband and I went to dinner tonight. He had the flounder special which he enjoyed. I had the pan fried chicken breast in a Marsala sauce containing mushrooms. Unfortunately the chicken breast lacked any flavor and was difficult to cut even with a knife as well as tough to chew. Even if the chicken had not been unappetizing, I feel it was overpriced as it came with mashed potatoes and some vegetables which appeared to be sautéd green beans, spinach and egg plant. Since I am writing the review, I felt the meal was disappointing.
The food is great. My wife had steak and lobster and I had lamb. Both are excellent. The ambiance not so great. The place is dark and looks really old, outdated, and not very large. I expected more from a fine dining place. My wife commented that it reminded her of a Chinese restaurant that was converted. The place has no character. Our server is nice, but she did not seem to know the menu items that well when we were asking her questions about the food. She took our orders and disappeared. She was not attentive and did not check in on us that often to see if we needed anything, but only until we got our food when she did. My wife struck a conversation with her and she more engaging then. There were people who seated after us that got their food before we did and had better service. Their server was engaging and talked about the food. If this place was in a better location and has pizzazz to it, I would go back again.

The waiter was over the top with his descriptions of the food and the "chef" who prepares it. The waiter was more of a salesman and his descriptions of the food was an exaggeration. Also felt the meal was overpriced; the food was only fair. I would only go with a gift card.
Waiters are very knowledgeable with good suggestions and quick service. Good quality ingredients and good selection of wines

Mary was a great server. Professional and welcoming. The only 'concern' was that we were charged for the wrong glass of wine. It was only $4 more for the glass but this is the 3rd time it's happened. I mentioned to Debbie and Corey who was apologetic and issued us a $5 gift card. It really wasn't about $4, it was the fact this has happened a few other times so server needs to be more attentive when ringing in glasses or bottles of wine to make sure they are what the customer ordered.
One of our favorite. We eat there at least once a month and the food and service are always superb.

Food is outstanding, as is the service. The prices seem to have gone up significantly since my last dinner visit (about a year ago). I usually go to Choplins for lunch. So it is an excellent dinner, but pricy.
First off, I love Choplins and have many people there. However on the 13th of May, I had to wait 10 minutes after everybody elses steak was served. I'm don't know whose fault it was and it really doesn't matter. There was no real apology or explanation for the delay. In most better restaurants the wait staff and often a manager is extremely apoligetic and usually discounts the bill or at least offers a free dessert when you don't get to eat until after the rest have finished meals

Our server (I think his name was Corey) was EXCELLENT! Best customer service I've had in a looooong time! He was even so great with my baby girl, he held her & spoke like Kermit the Frog to her. It was cute! We'll definitely be back!

It took us an hour to be served dinner after we ordered, the muscles were sandy, the pasta was swimming in sauce, and the steak was over cooked. This is way too expensive of a restaurant for such poor food & slow service. Also the mixed vegetables were soggy and cooked with bell peppers, so all of the vegetables tasted like bell peppers.

Our server over charged us and when asked about it he really did not resolve the issue. The food was excellent but the service really could be better.
Waiter rude, pushy and added his own tip to bill. Sauce too salty. Meats in dishes either overcooked, undercooked or missing (shrimp). Bread was best part of meal. Nice atmosphere and would be great for quiet conversation, date night if waiter not constantly interrupting trying to push bill higher.
Willing to accommodate any special food request or items no longer on the menu can be offered if asked.

The food is usually very good but was very disappointing this visit. They were very busy and we sat right by the kitchen watching and hearing all the rushing around of the servers. All this combined did not make a good date night.

The "vegetable" of the evening was red cabbage.... with the prices of the meals I would of thought something a little better should of been offered.
My husband who does not like seafood, had few choices since he didn't want a steak.
