The food and service here is always excellent! Yesterday our group had the rack of lamb, large filet, and salmon along with a salad. All were excellent once again. Our wait person was very nice and attentive, and everything moved along well. This restaurant is the best bargain in the Coachella Valley and the restaurant.com certificates make it even a better bargain!!
they have the best & most reasonable filet steaks. even though the cuisine is mainly italian----they cook the steaks very consistently-----just like at a steak house! AND-----you can make your meal MORE italian by ordering a side of pasta!

Second visit to restaurant. 1st time ordered steak and it was not cooked as ordered and was tough! My guest ordered Eggplant parmigiana and it was vary good. Second visit..Since a Italian restraurant I thought would be great. Ordered Chicken Marsala. Not good! No flavor and chicken dry. As this was my second visit and last. Slow service if receiving our drinks. It was not busy at all! Food service was good.
We have two favorites, Crystal and Gabbie (Gabriele) who treat us like special people. Always leave with a hug and a smile!!!
The food was good, albeit slow in coming. The service, confused. After dining, we opted to rake after diner drinks on the veranda. I had to help find the Pernod and the Anisette for the bartender who said she never heard of them. The house specialty, "Frozen Irish Coffee" was unacceptable. I returned it for a traditional "Irish Coffee" which came in a mug. It took even longer to pay our bill then for the dinner to be served and the waiter lost our credit card. This is not the first time our credit card was "misplaced" there and last time it ended up in Freud charges. No one (management department) seemed to care. I went to the front desk requesting the manager and was told that the manager had left for the evening. I said; "what if the placed was robbed, who would be in charge then?" (actually said this) I was then connected to the manage via telephone. His response to all of this: I will look into it (obviously not before tomorrow or the next day, or so) and that I should explain the problems to the desk manager. I handed the phone to the desk manager and stood there waiting for him to finish talking to "the manager". He didn't and I returned to my party at the table thinking (foolishly) that the desk manager would follow me to the table. He did not but I did see him watching us from inside the bar. After waiting for quite some time to settle our bill, I suggested we leave and just let the owner cover the tab. The waiter, Tommy, came back telling us that he was told that it would be his responsibility to cover the tab. Tommy then found our missing credit card and the bill was settled. When something of this magnitude does happen, one would expect, at the very least, that the manager would come to the table to apologize - no such luck. The waited then came back to say that the manager would like to buy us dessert to "make up" for the delay and our inconvenience. I let him know how I felt about that and we left. one of our favorite entrees---osso bucco---- was removed from the menu. SAD. BUT---we DID find another entree----filet & pasta--- which we ordered BOTH times we dined there when we were in palm springs for 2 months. it's hard to find a restaurant that can consistently deliver a charred, but RARE steak. they did----both times! PLUS--- prices are VERY reasonable----food AND alcohol.
We only had to wait a little while as they were busy. Our server was great and the food came out fast.

Wait staff was slow and unprofessional. They were too busy talking to each other. I guess they thought they were at a party...not work.

In the past they have offered a nightly special, Tuesday being top sirloin steak. When the hostess seated us I asked to confirm top sirloin was the nightly special. She said she wasn't sure bout thought that yes, it is. Although there appeared to be quite a few employees working the floor, service was slow and poor at best. After some time our request for ice water with lemon was met - without ice and without lemon. When we placed our order we learned that they no longer offer nightly special. We ordered the top steaks just the same. I opted for the side to be a baked potato and emphasized that it should be hot, i.e. as in melting the applied butter. While waiting for our meal to be served, the waiter managed to drop a tray of drinks between our table and the next with our being splashed. It was made lite of and no offer to attend to our wet clothing was made. Our meals came and the butter applied was still not melted at the conclusion of our meal. The vegetables were hardly more than raw. Not a pleasant evening to be remembered.
Veggies w/ meal 90% zucchini. Found out later we were there for Happy Hour but no one told us. Grilled salmon very good. Filet mignon cooked perfect & very tender but lacked that "open flame" taste.

We actually use this restaurant to bring our clients for our business to; we always have a great experience here. The chef is third generation, and the recipes are quite authentic. Just great all around, for being located in a spa resort.

We arrived just before closing after a long day of travel. Tommie and Ross made us feel so welcome! Food was amazing and service was excellent! Never felt rushed even though we were there so late, we really had time to relax and enjoy ourselves, which was exactly what we needed. The restaurant is in the middle of a medium sized resort, so there is always activity going on while dining. It can get noisy at times, but the food and service are always wonderful.

Crab stuffed avocado was made with surimi - crab with a "K", fake crab. Lobster linguine did not taste or look fresh. Dining companion had a grilled steak & baked potato - can't mess that up!

Adam, Gisellle and Lupe are incredible. I dine 2-3 each week at Capri with my 88 y.o mom in a wheelchair. They treat her like a queen. their service is impeccable.

We have eaten there several times in the past. We notice soup or salad is no longer included with dinner, portions seem smaller, and the food quality is not as good. We will return for a second chance.

Was a far distance from where we were staying but it was really worth the drive. Part of a larger resort and we were a little worried BUT the food was excellent Italian food. Waiter was very friendly, informative and efficient.
The Italian food was wonderful. Eggplant Parm / Lasagne / Risotto / Beautiful seeting downstairs from lobby overlooking the treeline pools. A Nice surprise.

The restaurant is in an older hotel but is perfect for Palm Springs. It is like a step back in time... so is Palm Springs. The music played is appropriate for the era and at an appropriate level. The food and helpings are great.
