Good food, great service. Love the small town feel. We've gone there enough now that the server recognizes us. It's become a family favorite.
We got there a few times a month. Never disappointed. Always a great delicious place to grab a burger. The cable car sandwich and big mans breakfast are my favorite! Staff is friendly and air conditioned in the summertime.

The service seemed to be at a distance. Very little eye contact. I was there once before some years ago and felt the same thing.

Food is always fresh cooked and very good. We visit my older aunt 1 or 2 times a year and do lunch. This is close and the food is always good so we all meet there.
Good food, pleasant atmostphere
This was a small diner for the locals in a rural community. We were out-of-towers who stopped for a late lunch at about 2:30 pm. There was a group of 6 senior men who appeared to meeting for a friendly chat and 3-4 other elders grabbing a quick bite. We ordered a salad and the Captain's platter of seafood. The seafood was breaded and deep fat fried and they didn't offer grilled. The salad had fresh crisp dark greens and was refreshing. The French fries were perfect. I'd probably try a hamburger if we happen to find ourselves there again. The waitress was friendly, animated and efficient.

The food was very good except for the sausage. The sausage links really were bad. You need a better sausage link. The lumberjack sausage links arereally good. I know people would rather pay a little more than to eat the ones you are currently serving.
